Gordon Kuehner is listed as Missing in Action, however during the war radio propaganda broadcasts indicated that he died of wounds following a bombing raid on a prison camp on October 13, 1951. These reports were later confirmed by repatriated POWs, but Captain Kuehner’s remains have never been recovered.
