Specialist Johnathan Bryan Chism, United States Army, was captured by Armed Iraqi gunmen on 20 January 2007, while serving with the 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, and was executed the same day while being held as a Prisoner of War.
