(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross to Private First Class Mario Marret, Army of France, for extraordinary heroism in connection with military operations against an armed enemy while serving as an Aviator with the Office of Strategic Services, in action against enemy forces in enemy-occupied France, during the period from August 1943 to August 1944. Private First Class Marret’s outstanding accomplishments, personal bravery and zealous devotion to duty exemplify the highest traditions of the Armed Forces of the Allied Nations.
