SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America takes pleasure in presenting the Coast Guard Distinguished Service Medal to Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard Steven W. Cantrell, United States Coast Guard, for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States as Master Chief Petty Officer of the United States Coast Guard from 22 May 2014 to 17 May 2018.
