(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Rear Admiral Frederick August Zeusler, United States Coast Guard, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Commanding Officer of the SEVENTEENTH Naval District, Juneau, Alaska, from March 1942 to March 1944, and as Commanding Officer, THIRTEENTH Naval District, Seattle, Washington, from April 1944 to July 1946.
