Ronald Marryott graduated from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland, Class of 1957, From 1986 to 1988 he served as the 52d Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy. He retired in 1990 as a U.S. Navy Rear Admiral.
