    (Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Aviation Radioman Second Class James H. Robins, United States Navy, was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for heroic conduct in rescuing the pilot of a PBM attached to U.S.S. PINE ISLAND (AV-12), when that plane crashed and exploded during an exploratory flight on the Continent of Antarctica near Cape Dart in connection with Operation HIGHJUMP, on 30 December 1946.
