(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Seaman First Class Stephen J. Capizzi, United States Navy, was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Medal for heroic conduct in the rescue of a crew member of the U.S.S. MINIVET, after mining and sinking of that ship in Tsushima Strait, on 29 December 1945.
