(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain Gordon Rowe, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Commanding Officer of the U.S.S. RANGER (CV-4), attached to the British home fleet, at Denmark and Norway, from 19 September 1943 to 20 December 1943.
