(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Ensign Frank H. Hawk, United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as a Pilot in Torpedo Squadron TWENTY-FIVE, embarked in U.S.S. CHENANGO (CVE-28), over the Nansei Shoto area, from 3 April 1945 to 18 May 1945.
