Price, Jr., United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as Pilot of a Ventura Bomber in Bombing Squadron ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX (VB-136), over Paramushira, Kurties, on 10 September 1945.
