(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Aviation Ordnanceman Third Class Fred Kautz, Jr., United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as aircrewman in a Bombing Plane in Patrol Bombing Squadron ONE HUNDRED NINETEEN (VPB-119), over the Pacific area from 4 to 19 April 1945.
