(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Aviation Radioman Third Class Harold E. Campen, Jr., United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as Aircrewman of a Patrol Bomber in Patrol Bombing Squadron ONE HUNDRED SIX (VPB-106), in the vicinity of Borneo coasts, the Celebes, Malaya and Indo-China coasts, from 26 April 1944 to 1 January 1945.
