Clark, United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as Co-Pilot of a PBY-4 in Patrol Squadron ONE HUNDRED ONE (VB-101), Naval Air Station, Sangley Point, Cavite, Philippine Islands area, from 8 December 1941 to 30 January 1942.
