(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Aviation Ordnanceman Third Class Louis Darnley Meyer, United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as Aircrewman of a Patrol Bomber in Bombing Squadron ONE HUNDRED NINETEEN in the forward Pacific area from 7 March 1945 to 15 May 1945.
