(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain George Mastick Ravenscroft, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Chief of Staff, Task Surface Group, Western Sea Frontier; and later, Assistant Commandant and Assistant Commandant for Logistics, ELEVENTH Naval District, from December 1941 to August 1945.
