Moore, Jr., United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Senior Assistant to the Head of the Electrical Section, Shipbuilding Division, Bureau of Ships, from April 1942 to 15 October 1945.
