(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain (SC) Ernest L. Johnson, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Cost Inspector in the Detroit area, NINTH Naval District, from March 1942 to September 1943; and Supervisory Cost Inspector in the NINTH Naval District and later the SECOND Naval District, from September 1943 to August 1945.
