Myers, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Secretary of the Joint Communications Board and U.S. Secretary for the Combined Communications Board under the Joint and Combined Chiefs of Staff from March 1942 to November 1945.
