McClung, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Attorney in the Office of the General Counsel, Navy Department, from 6 June 1942 to 24 January 1945, and as Aide to Assistant Secretary of the Navy, from January to August 1945.
