(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Ensign Arthur Porter, United States Naval Reserve, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as Pilot of a torpedo bomber in Torpedo Squadron EIGHTY-FOUR, embarked in U.S.S. BUNKER HILL (CV-17), over the Tokyo area, on 16 February 1945.
