(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain John Connor, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Anti-Submarine Officer, Commander Destroyers Atlantic, and later as commander of a destroyer squadron and an Atlantic Fleet task group from March 1942 to January 1944.
