(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Ensign Robert T. Hight (NSN: 0-347445), United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (Posthumously) for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as a Pilot in Fighting Squadron EIGHTY-FOUR (VF-84), embarked in U.S.S. BUNKER HILL (CV-17) in the vicinity of Tokyo, Iwo Jima, Kyushu and Okinawa, from 21 February to 9 May 1945.
