(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Vice Admiral Paul Edwin Trimble, United States Coast Guard, was awarded the Coast Guard Distinguished Service Medal for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished service in a position of great responsibility to the Government of the United States while serving successively as Chief of Staff and Assistant Commandant of the United States Coast Guard from June 1964 to November 1966.
