Clyde Lusk graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Class of 1954. From 1988 to 1990 he served as the 16th Vice Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard. He retired as a U.S. Coast Guard Vice Admiral in 1990. He is credited as a co-author of the book, “The Coast Guard in Film” published in 2006.
