Martin Daniell was commissioned in the Coast Guard after graduating from Dartmouth College in 1957. From 1990 to 1992 Martin Daniell served as the 17th Vice Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard and retired as a U.S. Coast Guard Vice Admiral in 1992.
