(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pride in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross (Posthumously) to Chef de Battalion Felix Joseph Marie Finat Duclose, Army of France, for extraordinary heroism in connection with military operations against an armed enemy while serving with the 7th Algerian Tirailleurs Regiment, 3d Algerian Infantry Division, French Army, in action against enemy forces during the advance on and in the fight for Marseilles, France, in August 1944. Chef de Battalion Duclose’s outstanding accomplishments, personal bravery and zealous devotion to duty exemplify the highest traditions of the Armed Forces of the Allied Nations.
