The President of the United States of America takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Ensign Daniel H. Bock, United States Naval Reserve, for heroism and extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight in twenty aerial flights against enemy forces within the period 25 March to 28 April 1945, during the invasion of Okinawa Gunto, Empire of Japan.
