(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress July 9, 1918, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Service Cross to Major Henry de Rocca-Serra, Army of France, for extraordinary heroism in connection with military operations against an armed enemy while serving as a Battalion Commander in the 4th R.T.M., French Army, in action against enemy forces from 11 to 14 May 1944. Major de Rocca-Serra’s outstanding accomplishments, personal bravery and zealous devotion to duty exemplify the highest traditions of the Armed Forces of the Allied Nations.
