(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Captain George A. Reaves, III, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States from March 1966 to August 1968, in positions of significant responsibility as the Deputy Chief, European Division, Plans and Policy Directorate, Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and as the principal staff officer in the Southern European Branch of that division.
