Brandow, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States while assigned to field command, Defense Atomic Support Agency, Sandia Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico, from 24 May 1963 to 1 August 1967.
