(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Rear Admiral (SC) Robert H. Northwood, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States while serving successively as Deputy Commander and as Commander, Defense Electronics Supply Center, from February 1962 to May 1966, for a significant contribution to the accomplishment of the over-all mission of the Defense Supply Agency and the Department of Defense concept for consolidated management of common supplies and services.
