(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Rear Admiral George P. Koch, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Chief of Naval Reserve Training from 28 July 1963 to 28 September 1965, for his solutions to many problems of long standing in view of the importance of the Naval Air Reserve to the total defense effort.
