(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Rear Admiral (SC) James S. Dietz, United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Commander, Defense General Supply Center, Richmond, Virginia, from 25 May 1964 to 31 August 1965, by his contributions including guidance and implementation of modifications to the supply system to meet both existing and possible emergency demands.
