Watson (ASN: 6769071), United States Army, for heroism, not involving actual conflict with an enemy, displayed at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, 14 September 1933. Sergeant Watson, responding to cries for help from a sentry who had been attacked and disarmed of his pistol by an escaped insane soldier, intercepted the insane soldier, secured the pistol, and subdued him.
