The President of the United States of America takes pleasure in presenting the Navy and Marine Corps Medal to Chief Pharmacist’s Mate Clarence A. Frasier (NSN: 196554), United States Navy, for heroic conduct during the bombardment of Canacao and Bataan by Japanese forces in December 1941 and January 1942. Chief Pharmacist’s Mate Frasier rescued wounded and helpless men from an area which was bombed a few moments after the evacuation.
