(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant Commander (DC), [then Lieutenant] Claud Mahlon Fraleigh (NSN: 0-81867), United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as Dental Officer at Manila and Bataan during action against the enemy, and as a Prisoner of War at O’Donnell and Cabanatuan in the PID, in the military hospital at Moji, Japan, and in a prison camp at Mukden, Manchuria, from 10 December 1941 to August 1945.
