Love, Jr., United States Navy, was awarded the Legion of Merit with Combat “V” for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States as a Medical Officer attached to the FIRST Marine Division, from 4 November 1952 to 13 August 1953.
