(Citation Needed) – SYNOPSIS: Lieutenant, Junior Grade George Hamilton, United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving as Pilot of a Helicopter, in action against enemy aggressor forces in Korea on 22 October 1951.

Commander Hamilton contributed immeasurably to the Naval Air Training Command and t the Naval Flight Officer program in particular.
