Schulz, United States Navy, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving with Patrol Squadron FORTY-TWO (VP-42), in action against enemy aggressor forces in Korea from 26 August 1950 to 28 January 1951.
