Jackson (NSN: 0-390291), United States Navy, was awarded a Gold Star in lieu of a Second Award of the Distinguished Flying Cross for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight while serving with Attack Squadron ONE HUNDRED NINETY-FIVE (VA-195), embarked in U.S.S. PRINCETON (CV-37), in action against enemy aggressor forces in Korea on 12 June 1952.
