    Colonel David William Eberly, United States Air Force, F-15E aircraft was shot down in his F-15E Aircraft over Iraq on 19 January 1991. He evaded the enemy for three days until his was captured on 22 January, and was subsequently held by the Iraqis as a Prisoner of War until his release on 6 March 1991.
