The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, 20 July 1942, takes pride in presenting the Legion of Merit (Posthumously) to Chief Warrant Officer Five Jamie D. Weeks, United States Army, for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the Government of the United States from 15 May 1996 to 14 May 2006 in numerous positions of responsibility including AH-6 Aircraft Modernization Attack Fully Mission Qualified Pilot, Instructor Pilot, Company Safety Officer, and AH/MH-6 Section Leader. Chief Warrant Officer Five Weeks’ steadfast devotion and loyal service over his 25-year career reflect distinct credit upon himself, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), the United States Special Operations Command, and the United States Army.
