Michael Kjome was Chief of Training Branch for Pacific Architects and Engineers, U. S. Army Contractors in Vietnam, providing logistical support for 1st Logistical Command Engineers. He was captured at Cho An Nhon, a small hamlet on the edge of Saigon on February 1, 1968, and was held until his release on February 12, 1973.
