Emmet Kay was a Pilot for Continental Air Services, a CIA-chartered airline in 1970. He operated in Laos carrying litter cases, tools, supplies and arms to CIA-directed troops in Laos. He was captured when his airplane was shot done near what appeared to be a deserted village on May 7, 1973, and was held until his release on September 18, 1974.
