Jasper Page was interned as a Prisoner of War in South Vietnam after he was captured along with fellow Airmen Samuel Adams and Charles Dusing near Vung Tau, South Vietnam, on October 31, 1965. Two days after their capture Adams and Page jumped their guards in an escape attempt during which Adams is believed to have died. Jasper Page successfully escaped captivity and reached American forces on November 4, 1965.
