Frank Iodice was interned as a Prisoner of War in South Vietnam after he and fellow Marine Albert Potter were captured on May 30, 1968. On June 1, during an attack by South Vietnamese (ARVN) soldiers on the enemy camp where the two of them were being held, both men successfully escaped captivity.
