Goodman (ASN: 36414251), United States Army, for gallantry in action and disregard for personal safety while serving with the 9th Infantry Division, on 2 September 1944, during operations in Belgium. Sergeant Goodman’s actions reflects highest credit upon himself and the armed forces of the United States.
