The President of the United States of America, in the name of Congress, takes pleasure in presenting the Medal of Honor to Private Aaron R. Hudson, United States Army, for extraordinary heroism on April, 1865, while serving with Company C, 17th Indiana Mounted Infantry, in action at Culloden, Georgia, for capture of flag of Worrill Grays (Confederate States of America).
