The President of the United States of America takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to First Lieutenant Royal N. Allred (MCSN: 0-21813), United States Marine Corps, for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight in the Bismarck Archipelago-New Guinea Islands Area from 27 December 1944 to 18 January 1945.
